The Language Marketplace Community Interpretation Training Program
An entry-level course offering comprehensive guidance on all aspects of community interpretation, from the role of an interpreter and practical training on consecutive interpretation to best practices in managing your freelance business. Created for bilingual individuals looking to kickstart their career in language services, this course also includes 20 hours of paid internship.
The Community Interpretation Training Program takes place over two consecutive days, with courses in both the GTA and Ottawa. Upon completion, students receive a certificate to acknowledge their proficiency.
The Language Marketplace Simultaneous Interpretation Training Program
Designed as the next step for community interpreters, the Simultaneous Interpretation Training Program offers everything students need to become proficient in introductory-level simultaneous interpreting. The course provides invaluable experience in simultaneous interpretation across different settings. Training is delivered on-site with online sessions, delivered by expert instructors. It also includes 40 hours of paid internship.
The Simultaneous Interpretation Training Program takes place over two consecutive days, with courses in both the GTA and Ottawa, and some course dates offering Synchronous Online Learning. Upon completion, students receive a certificate to acknowledge their proficiency.
